STUDENTS of all ages, backgrounds, and artistic abilities are invited to attend Maui School of Art classes. Many courses are ongoing, so new students can join in at anytime during the year to participate. Special short sessions in the winter and summer months are available for students who would like to come to Maui, especially to attend our short-session Plein Air courses.
Jack Reilly discussing painting with students,
LIVING ACCOMMODATIONS: For non-local students, housing arrangements can be facilitated by the Maui School of Art. If you are coming from the mainland or a foreign country, the island of Maui offers numerous living accommodations available by the day, week, month or longer. Since Maui caters heavily to tourism, there are plentiful accommodations of all types available, ranging from rooms in private homes, to studio apartments, single and multi-bedroom condominiums and of course hotels. The wide selection of intimate condo resorts or large high-rise condos and hotels offer the student a range of prices and selection of living environments.

ACTIVITIES: In addition to studying painting in Maui, there are many extracurricular activities to get involved in. World-class sight seeing and popular outdoor activities include: snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, hiking, biking and of course golf. Historic Lahaina Town offers numerous restaurants and bars for every taste, shopping galore, and a lively "art scene" with numerous galleries, unique specialty shops, Friday "Art Nights" and weekend outdoor art exhibits.
