  Maui School of Art offers students the highest quality art instruction in classical painting, plein air, landscape, photo realism, as well as modern painting techniques and abstraction. Located in beautiful, historic Lahaina Town, Hawaii, courses are taught by experienced, accomplished artists in a creative and nurturing learning environment. Our goal is to teach you the techniques and skills that will facilitate your personal artistic development.

The Maui School of Art was founded by artist Jack Reilly, MFA, internationally recognized painter, professor, and founding art faculty member of the California State University campus, CSU Channel Islands. While serving as department chairman and professor of art, Reilly developed the University's Art Department, including its curriculum, studio facilities, computer art labs, and galleries, Under his leadership, the CSUCI art program grew from a handful of students into a thriving community of 300 art majors. In 2015 Reilly left the CSU and moved to Maui to focus on new artistic endeavors and develop the Maui School of Art.

Courses are available to students and artists of all ages and artistic levels, who seek to pursue their own artistic dreams. Maui School of Art supports Maui's potential as a destination for artists seeking solace and purpose through the learning experience and artistic practice.
